Scrapped Groups

Today I decided to not implement a grouping system. I felt that it was quite useless to have if everyone could simply create and manage their own projects, while also allowing other people to join. Instead of limiting project members to a group, anyone who is registered can join any project. There will still be a status (Open or Closed, Private or Public) to keep the peace.
Other than that, a lot of progress has been made. I've been consolidating all of the pages. I'm still working on the backend for projects. Some of the features are already working, but still need improvement. Work, work, work...

Progress was Made

The good news is that I have made a lot of progress this past week -- at a cost of course. I am severely behind in Calculus so the remainder of my weekend will be dedicated to studying. Here is what I have completed thus far, and what to expect in the near future:
Registration requires image security (prevents bots from registering)
Articles can be edited by authors and moderators
Comments can be posted on articles if logged in
Control panel is halfway finished
Profiles look more appealing; account settings have more options
A more accurate online/offline accountability for members (uses a timer instead of depending on Logout)
Some HTML is allowed in articles, the rest is stripped
News and contact pages have been integrated with index to save space
About page was started
Creation and managing of groups is next on the priority list. Then projects, leader controls, settings, etc. Finish the user profile pages to be more appealing. Start on the site search page. Create a bulletin plan for groups. And in the far future: create personal messaging (group enrollment required), more ranks/levels, user ratings, and so forth.

Under Construction

My Mad Project is still under construction. If I could guess, it is approximately 20% completed and will take several weeks to finish. I will eventually do the about page so it will display tasks at hand and status updates.
